Ming Qian (Henry) Wang was born on the 21st of February 2007 in Beijing, China. Wang moved to Canada at the age of eleven. Since he was five years old, Wang has explored the freedom of creativity by drawing, and in the process, has experienced the blossoming of his artistic nature. He is in love with art and the world of imagination.

     At the start of the pandemic in early 2020, Wang experienced extreme isolation in his apartment— prompting him to begin a new journey of creation. He had always been intrigued by the idea of painting and illustrating objects and people, but the experience of social isolation during the pandemic honed his mind to view art differently. His works increasingly became a combination of imagination and observation of life around him. This resulted in an extensive body of works that range from featuring distortions of human emotions to depictions of peace in nature.
