British Columbia Creative Center is an education studio that focuses on developing art, design and critical thinking skills for high school students. Established in 1995 by Shawn He in Vancouver, BC Canada, the studio offers an environment for students to freely explore their creative interests with the guidance of professional artists and designers. As a result, British Columbia Creative Center does not believe in a set curriculum. Instead, students are carefully assessed to discover their unique potential and passion. The teachers then tailor the content to meet these individual needs. Though most of the students see themselves as pursuing an art or design career, there are also students in the academic fields of business, engineering, and science, who perceive the benefit of enhancing their critical thinking and analytical skills via the development of artworks.
